Selecionada pela Secretaria de Estado de Cultura, Esporte e Lazer (Secel-MT) no edital Document\u00e1rio Tem\u00e1tico, edi\u00e7\u00e3o Lei Paulo Gustavo, a obra \u00e9 um convite para revisitar as cenas cotidianas da cidade e seus personagens atrav\u00e9s das lentes do fot\u00f3grafo rosariense Antonio Siqueira.<\/p><p>Fot\u00f3grafo autodidata desde os anos 1980, Antonio registrou o dia a dia da cidade com uma sensibilidade caracter\u00edstica de quem conhecia bem cada ambiente fotografado e cada personalidade retratada. A vida ribeirinha e as festas de santo ocupam um espa\u00e7o central em sua produ\u00e7\u00e3o, bem como as pessoas que se fazem presentes nestes contextos: pescadores, cozinheiras, cururueiros, artes\u00e3os e fieis. Nenhum deles passava despercebido pelo olhar de Antonio, falecido em 2021.<\/p><p>Em seus mais de 40 anos de fotografia, Antonio produziu um rico acervo que, al\u00e9m de Ros\u00e1rio Oeste, traz imagens do modo de vida e das tradi\u00e7\u00f5es de outras cidades e comunidades da baixada cuiabana, registradas na exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Santos da Baixada, realizada em 2020, em parceria com o fot\u00f3grafo Luzo Reis.\u00a0<\/p><p>O document\u00e1rio exibe imagens produzidas pelo artista, acompanhadas por relatos das personalidades fotografadas. Por meio dos registros e dos testemunhos, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel compreender o olhar de quem estava por tr\u00e1s da c\u00e2mera: o fot\u00f3grafo rosariense que observava com curiosidade, orgulho e admira\u00e7\u00e3o a vida da cidade e de seus moradores.<\/p><p>\u201cO document\u00e1rio \u00e9, acima de tudo, uma homenagem \u00e0 fotografia de Antonio que retratou de forma \u00fanica Ros\u00e1rio Oeste e outras cidades e comunidades da baixada cuiabana, suas rotinas, seus costumes e as pessoas retratadas com profunda admira\u00e7\u00e3o e respeito\u201d, afirma a diretora do
